Man determined to be too drunk for Gaylord Opryland Hotel — Robert Parker #VisitMusicCity - Scoop: Nashville

47-year-old Robert Parker was causing a disturbance at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel this past weekend. Security initially detained him, at which time he was being verbally aggressive toward security staff and Nashville Fire Department medics, who were also on scene. He was charged with public intoxication. It was not immediately known what event caused Parker to become disorderly.

ARREST WARRANT / AFFIDAVIT:
ON 10/12/2021 OFFICERS RESPONDED TO 2800 OPRYLAND DRIVE REGARDING A DISORDERLY PERSON AT APPROXIMATELY 00:00 HOURS. OFFICERS LOCATED THE DEFENDANT AT THE LOCATION DETAINED BY SECURITY AND BEING VERBALLY AGGRESSIVE TOWARD HOTELY SECURITY AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. THE DEFENDANT WAS OBSERVED TO HAVE BLOODSHOT EYES, SLURRED SPEECH, AND A STRONG ODOR OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE. DUE TO THE NUISANCE THE DEFENDANT WAS BECOMING AT THE LOCATION, OFFICERS ARRESTED HIM FOR PUBLIC INTOXICATION.
